Program for Sápmi Pride 2023

Sápmi Pride 2023 will be in Heahttá, on the Finnish side of Sápmi, from 11th to 13th of August.

We reserve the right to make changes to the programme.

Friday 11/8

• 17:00-21:00 - Sign-making workshop and opening speech
  Location: Hetta School

• 18:00-20:00 - Antiracist and safer spaces workshop
  By Javiera Marchant Aedo, co-organised with Sami Rađđi and Sápmi Pride. Sámi youth are prioritised, but open to anyone who is willing to be respectful of the space is welcome.

Saturday 12/8

• 09:00 - Breakfast

• 12:00 - Practical information and start of Pride Parade
  Location: Hetta School

• 12:45 - Gather for post-parade info
  Location: Hetta School

• 13:00 - Speeches and panel discussion
  Location: Hetta School

• 13-20 - Kid’s play area available
  Location: Hetta School

• 13-20 - Uvja is present
  Location: Hetta School

• 15:00-17:00 - Antiracist and safer spaces workshop by Javiera Marchant Aedo

• 18:00-20:00 - Family-friendly party, sober event

  With an amazing artist as well as getting-to-know-each-other activities. Great time to make new friends!

  18+ evening party, with a video performance from a queer Sami artist.
