Do you want to be Garmeres' new translator?

Garmeres is an organization of and by queer sámi throughout Sápmi - in Norway, Sweeden, Finland and Russia. For now, the majority of our members are located in Norway, and we are actively working on including members and future members in the work we are doing.

To this day, Garmeres have mostly published Norwegian and English posts on our website, with some translated to Northern Sámi. As a part of our work on making our organization accessible and including, we wish for our published information and updates to be available for more people - also the ones with other native languages than Norwegian.

In this regard, we are now looking for someone who wants to work on translating post for Garmeres' platforms. This entails translation from Norwegian to Northern Sámi or from English to Northern Sámi - depending on the translators preference.

The work of translating will be based on a contract. The work is payed, based on the normal rates with oversetterforeningen.no.
